5 Places I’d Go Back to Tomorrow

I’m not usually one to return to the same place twice. There’s so much of the world to see, and my list of dream destinations never stops growing. But Italy changed that. With several trips under my belt, I’ve learned that some places don’t just call you once — they keep pulling you back. These are the five destinations that stole my heart, and the ones I’d pack a bag for tomorrow without hesitation.
1. Just Anywhere, Italy 🇮🇹
Italy never lets me go. I’ve spent time along the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Tuscany, Milan, Venice, and my next trip will take me to the Cinque Terre — five colorful villages perched dramatically along the Ligurian cliffs. Hiking between towns, savoring seafood by the sea, and soaking up that coastal energy is at the top of my return list.
I’m also drawn to the Adriatic side of Italy, with towns that feel quieter, less touristy, and full of authentic local life. Exploring that coast would reveal yet another facet of a country that continues to surprise and inspire me.

2. Provence, France 🇫🇷
Fields of lavender, charming villages, and markets bursting with cheese, olives, and bread. Provence feels like a painting you can walk into. On my next trip, I’d love to explore new places like Èze and St. Paul de Vence. And a return to my beloved St. Rémy, which always feels like home in France. Provence is that rare mix of familiar comfort and discovery, which is exactly why it stays on my “go back to” list.
And because France keeps pulling me in, I’ve also got my eye on Strasbourg. A city where French and German culture meet, and one I’ve already started making plans for. 😉

3. Paris, France 🥐
Paris is always a good idea! But my next trip won’t be about chasing landmarks. Instead, I want to slip into the rhythm of local life: quiet cafés, tucked-away neighborhoods, and time to watch life go by and soak in the city’s everyday beauty. Paris has shown me its grandeur; now I’m ready to discover its intimacy.
France has already given me some unforgettable experiences beyond the capital — like the magic of Mont St. Michel and the powerful history of the Normandy beaches. Those moments left me with a deeper love for the country, and they remind me that every visit to France reveals another layer.

4. Norway 🇳🇴
Raw, untamed, and breathtaking — Norway surprised me at every turn. Cruising through fjords was unforgettable, but next time I’d like to explore by land, chasing trails, lakes, and mountains in search of even more natural beauty. Norway feels like a place where nature itself is the main character, and I’m ready for an encore.

5. Spain 🇪🇸
Spain is a feast for the senses. Tapas in Barcelona, flamenco in Seville, pintxos in San Sebastián — every region has its own rhythm and flavor. For me, it’s the markets that make Spain unforgettable: stalls overflowing with seafood, jamón, and spices, each bite telling a story of place.
But it’s not only about food. Spain’s architecture continues to amaze me, from Gaudí’s whimsical creations in Barcelona to the soaring spires and sacred beauty of Santiago de Compostela. Every city feels like walking through a different chapter of history, with plazas, cathedrals, and hidden corners that tell their own stories.
I’d go back tomorrow to keep exploring Spain’s flavors and its unforgettable architectural treasures.
